“Bach at Home”, or Bach vs. Bach

London Bach Society’s reception with buffet supper
By kind invitation of the LBS Council Chairman Richard Jones: a special evening “Bach at Home” or Bach vs Bach, deep in the Herefordshire countryside at Langstone Court, Llangarron. Tickets include Reception-Recital-2 course supper/wine, all for £55 per head as LBS continues its post-pandemic recovery and ahead of Leipzig Bachfest patronage.
Programme will include music by Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, with two Preludes & Fugues from the 1st Book of The Well Tempered Clavier on the 300th anniversary if its publication (1722).

Wonders of Nature

Reconnecting with our environment this concert will be full of Wonders of Nature, including a lion, fish, chicken but also Jupiter and lightning. Played on a copy of an 18-the century instrument (based on the original in Villa Medici in Rome).

Do I have to print my tickets?
No! We are doing our bit to help remedy the climate emergency, and we encourage you to do yours. Once you pay for the tickets, we will have your name at the door so you can simply introduce yourself when you arrive. If you bought tickets for someone else, please ask them to tell your name at the door.
Can I buy tickets for someone else?
Yes, either add more tickets to your booking, or create a new order. The tickets will be booked under the purchaser's name so please ask attendees to say your name when they arrive at the venue.
Can I return or exchange my tickets?
In general, the tickets are not refundable and cannot be exchanged, except in the following two instances:
- the event is cancelled
- the guest or a member of their household has been asked to isolate due to COVID-19 – you must contact us no later than 2 hours before the performance
We would like to help, however, so you can drop us an email and we can try to accommodate your exchange, if possible.
Do you follow COVID safety protocols?
All Bach Club concerts will follow the latest available Covid-19 Government guidelines. We will continue to review and manage potential risks, particularly in response to any changing guidance from the government, and will communicate such changes to our audience and musicians.
What happens if the performance is cancelled?
In the event that a performance is cancelled or re-scheduled, where there is sufficient time, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided us with at the time of ordering. However, we do not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation or re-scheduling before the date of the performance and it shall remain your responsibility to ascertain whether a performance has been cancelled or re-scheduled.
